Shizu

シズ

Shizu is a young man with a great talent for swordsmanship, weilding a katana. He travels in a buggy alongside his vassal and pet Samoyed, Riku, and eventually Ti, a girl whom Riku and Shizu eventually take in. Kino's first impression of Shizu is of a peaceful martyr, despite participating in a tournament of death. Kino and Hermes occasionally meet up with Shizu and Riku during their travels, but Kino seems to only remember Riku's name. (Source: Kino's Journey Wiki, edited)
